Automatic watches

Invented in 1877 by Swiss horologist Abraham Louis Perrelet, automatic watches are watches equipped with a so-called mechanical watch. The later is wound by wrist movements that driven the rotor (or oscillating weight), thereby producing energy that is directly transmitted from the mainspring to the hands. Intended for devotees of mechanics and horology, Vacheron Constantin automatic watches are made in full respect of watchmaking traditions
